Scenario when Ms. Sneha Shrestha was on her way back from the shelter this evening.
The only thing i could do is, dragged the dog from middle of the road to the pedestrian path, packed him in a plastic bag and called my team to collect the dead dog for burial.
We can see many dogs being killed by a vehicle and when we call Lalitpur municipality to take the dog, the answer is – We don’t have a manpower to collect the dead dog from the street.
First thing, there should be a strict law and punishment for Hit & Run by a vehicle for animals and secondly, the government must be responsible to come and take the dead animals from the street. When will this happen in our country?
